BSCI celebrates its 1 year anniversary in 213
Illustrating its commitment towards improving working conditions in factories and farms worldwide
What had started in 23 with a handful of Participants has now grown into an initiative assembling over 1 retailers, brands and importers. As it is 1 years since the founding of BSCI, we would like to take this as an opportunity not only to celebrate, but also to reflect on the challenges as well as opportunities that lie ahead for BSCI, one of the leading business-driven social compliance initiatives.
On this occasion, the University of St. Gallen is conducting a study on BSCI's first 1 years of existence. It will be presented and discussed at the BSCI Annual Conference on 26 June 213. We also would like to seize this opportunity to create the BSCI Footprints: Every month we will take a closer look at one important labour related issue and illustrate how challenges can be overcome and how companies have achieved progress.
